Server Maintenance Engineer

WHY Global Services is seeking a skilled Server Maintenance Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to manage, monitor, and maintain our server infrastructure. You will ensure optimal server performance, security, and reliability to support our growing technology environment.

• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers.
• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Manage server backups, updates, and patch installations.
• Ensure server security and compliance with best practices.
• Maintain documentation for server configurations and maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support network infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to server outages and incidents.
• Plan and execute server upgrades and migrations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in server maintenance and administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Proficient in scripting and automation for server tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Certifications like MCSE, RHCE, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience with network security and firewall management.
